# 巨峰字帖 vs Diary

The clearest difference is rating: Diary at 4.6 against 巨峰字帖's 3.9. Diary also leads on ratings volume (1.6K vs 7) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). 巨峰字帖's advantage is review sentiment (93% vs 78%) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 巨峰字帖 sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Diary sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.49 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Diary holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Diary has 1.6K ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 93% of 巨峰字帖's written reviews are positive against 78% of Diary's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

巨峰字帖 ships an update every 3 weeks, Diary every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
