# Snapic vs ClockThis

The clearest difference is update cadence: ClockThis at every 11 days against Snapic's every 16 months. ClockThis also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 18.0). Snapic's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Snapic sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and ClockThis sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ClockThis holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 3 and 2 respectively.

Snapic ships an update every 16 months, ClockThis every 11 days. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
