# Snapic vs Jotsum

The clearest difference is update cadence: Jotsum at every 5 days against Snapic's every 16 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Snapic sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and Jotsum sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Snapic ships an update every 16 months, Jotsum every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
