# BCBG vs El Palacio de Hierro

The clearest difference is rating: El Palacio de Hierro at 4.9 against BCBG's 1.0. El Palacio de Hierro also leads on ratings volume (1.2K vs 1) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). BCBG's advantage is update cadence (every 9 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

El Palacio de Hierro holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: El Palacio de Hierro has 1.2K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 40% of BCBG's written reviews are positive against 38% of El Palacio de Hierro's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

BCBG ships an update every 9 days, El Palacio de Hierro every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
