# CNCPTS vs THOREN

The clearest difference is ads: THOREN at none against CNCPTS's shown. THOREN also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). CNCPTS's advantage is ratings volume (1.1K vs 1) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 6 weeks). On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

THOREN holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CNCPTS has 1.1K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

CNCPTS ships an update every 3 weeks, THOREN every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
