# HackerX vs Soroban Path

The clearest difference is update cadence: Soroban Path at every 5 days against HackerX's every 6 weeks. HackerX's advantage is iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. HackerX sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and Soroban Path sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

HackerX ships an update every 6 weeks, Soroban Path every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
