# VATA7 vs Trimbox

The clearest difference is review sentiment: VATA7 at 100% against Trimbox's 52%. VATA7 also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 16) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.1). Trimbox's advantage is update cadence (every 9 days vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (5.9K vs 4). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Trimbox sells 15 in-app purchases, starting at $4.19 per 7 days. VATA7 asks for nothing beyond the download.

Trimbox holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Trimbox has 5.9K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of VATA7's written reviews are positive against 52% of Trimbox's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

VATA7 ships an update every 3 months, Trimbox every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on September 29, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
