# Daily Theme vs Coolpaper − Pattern Wallpapers

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Coolpaper − Pattern Wallpapers at 100% against Daily Theme's 42%. Coolpaper − Pattern Wallpapers also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 4 weeks). Daily Theme's advantage is ratings volume (4.2K vs 6) and rating (4.6 vs 4.3). On price, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Daily Theme sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Coolpaper − Pattern Wallpapers sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Daily Theme holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Daily Theme has 4.2K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 42% of Daily Theme's written reviews are positive against 100% of Coolpaper − Pattern Wallpapers's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Daily Theme ships an update every 4 weeks, Coolpaper − Pattern Wallpapers every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
