# Stichtsekant vs TolkApp

The clearest difference is update cadence: TolkApp at every 3 months against Stichtsekant's every 7 months. TolkApp also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Stichtsekant ships an update every 7 months, TolkApp every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
