# Split PDF Files vs Diu it

The clearest difference is rating: Diu it at 5.0 against Split PDF Files's 4.3. Diu it also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 3 months). Split PDF Files's advantage is ratings volume (95 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Split PDF Files sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days and Diu it sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Diu it holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Split PDF Files has 95 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Split PDF Files ships an update every 3 months, Diu it every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
