A calorie counter only works if you are still opening it next week. People leave because writing the meal down takes longer than eating it. Limotein is the food diary you can finish. Say what you ate, snap the plate, scan the package, search, or type it the way you would text someone. Coach drafts the calories and macros, protein included. You confirm once. Nothing is saved until you do, and then you get on with the day. Intermittent fasting usually means a second app. The timer sits in one place and the food log in another, so you lose the clock as soon as you go to eat. Here they stay together. Choose a 16/8, a lighter window, or one meal a day, or set your own hours. You see time elapsed or time left on Today, on your home screen, and on Apple Watch. Basic fasting stays free forever. Your window, the timer, and starting and ending the fast do not expire when a trial ends. When the window opens, that meal goes in the same diary. You might have come here to count calories. You might have come for the fast. Either way it is one day. The fast says when eating starts. The diary says whether protein survived that window. You are not keeping two streaks in two apps and hoping they still describe the same Tuesday. A plan that only survives a quiet week will not last. A dinner out, a trip, a late night, or a day you are ill can loosen the calorie range while protein stays in view. Log a travel day from whatever you actually ate. On a recovery day the deficit comes off: rest, hydrate, eat simply. Pause a day and it stays out of the score. The rest of the week does not move. What you are trying to hold is usually one thing. Lose weight, and still eat enough protein. Maintain, and care about the food. Build muscle, with protein across the day. Eat for the training you did. Limotein sets calorie and macro targets from your body, your activity, and your pace. You can change them. Coach already has today's log. You talk to it the way the day actually went, and nothing is saved until you confirm. The plate is mixed and you will not weigh it. Photograph it. Coach names the foods, estimates each portion, totals the calories, and waits. Lunch was small and dinner has to carry the protein. Ask how much protein is left, or ask what is left today and you get protein and calories together. You logged half the meal and got pulled away. Hand that meal back. Coach continues from the foods already there, and does not add them a second time. You forgot lunch until the evening. Say what it was, name the meal, and confirm it onto that slot. It is a fasting day and you have not started. Tell Coach to start the fast. If one is already running, ask when it ends, and log water without leaving the clock. One morning on the scale looks wrong. Ask for your weight trend, so a single weigh-in does not pick your week. You would rather talk than search. Say the meal, or type it the way it happened, and stay in the thread until the portions are right. Then confirm. Want a glass of water logged during a fast, or on any other day? Tell Coach how much, and then confirm it before the glass is saved. To see if the week is working, look at your weight, your waist, and the one gap that matters today. Steps, sleep, and burned calories can come from Apple Health or Health Connect. Short on protein and still hungry? Ask for a meal that fits what is left, change it, and log it. Keep the diary in the language you eat in: English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Danish, Swedish, or Persian. Counting calories is free. Basic fasting remains free forever, on Today, on your home screen, and on Apple Watch. A new account includes 7 days with Coach, photos, voice, and barcode scans. Premium keeps Coach, those logging tools, meal ideas for what you have left, and a longer view of your progress. The fast does not move behind the paywall. Limotein is a personal food log and fasting timer. Terms: https://limotein.com/terms/ Privacy: https://limotein.com/privacy/
