# PDQ Chicken vs Foxtail Coffee

The clearest difference is ads: PDQ Chicken at none against Foxtail Coffee's shown. PDQ Chicken also leads on review sentiment (60% vs 39%) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.4). Foxtail Coffee's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 4 months) and rating (4.8 vs 4.6). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Foxtail Coffee holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Foxtail Coffee has 7.8K ratings behind it against 1.4K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 60% of PDQ Chicken's written reviews are positive against 39% of Foxtail Coffee's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

PDQ Chicken ships an update every 4 months, Foxtail Coffee every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
