# PDQ Chicken vs Maa Kitchen

The clearest difference is update cadence: Maa Kitchen at every 10 days against PDQ Chicken's every 4 months. Maa Kitchen also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). PDQ Chicken's advantage is ratings volume (1.4K vs 14) and rating (4.6 vs 4.3). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

PDQ Chicken holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PDQ Chicken has 1.4K ratings behind it against 14, so its average is the more settled of the two.

PDQ Chicken ships an update every 4 months, Maa Kitchen every 10 days. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
