# VTines Live vs Magic Tines

The clearest difference is rating: VTines Live at 4.8 against Magic Tines's 3.7. VTines Live also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months) and chart position (#174 vs unranked). Magic Tines's advantage is price ($19.99 vs $24.99) and review sentiment (100% vs 80%). On ads, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

VTines Live costs $24.99 and Magic Tines $19.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

VTines Live holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: VTines Live has 20 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 80% of VTines Live's written reviews are positive against 100% of Magic Tines's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

VTines Live ships an update every 2 weeks, Magic Tines every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and September 29, 2026 respectively.
