# Goal Tracker vs Gem XD

The clearest difference is rating: Gem XD at 5.0 against Goal Tracker's 4.5. Gem XD also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 1) and update cadence (every 4 weeks vs every 6 months). Goal Tracker's advantage is ratings volume (21 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Goal Tracker sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per year. Gem XD asks for nothing beyond the download.
