# BBN vs Ink

The clearest difference is ads: Ink at none against BBN's shown. Ink also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 5 months) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

BBN ships an update every 5 months, Ink fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on September 22, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
