# Keepsmile vs MiniLight

The clearest difference is ads: MiniLight at none against Keepsmile's shown. MiniLight also leads on review sentiment (36% vs 20%) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). Keepsmile's advantage is ratings volume (4.8K vs 19). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 2.5 for Keepsmile against 2.6 for MiniLight. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Keepsmile has 4.8K ratings behind it against 19, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 20% of Keepsmile's written reviews are positive against 36% of MiniLight's.
