# Master English vs NETZUN

The clearest difference is rating: Master English at 4.9 against NETZUN's 4.2. Master English also leads on review sentiment (79% vs 38%) and ratings volume (32K vs 43). NETZUN's advantage is monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Master English sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $13.99 per month and NETZUN sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $10.90 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Master English holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Master English has 32K ratings behind it against 43, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 79% of Master English's written reviews are positive against 38% of NETZUN's.

Master English ships an update every 2 weeks, NETZUN every 11 days. The most recent releases landed on November 5, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
