# Master English vs Dawere

The clearest difference is monetization model: Dawere at free against Master English's subscription. Dawere also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.0). Master English's advantage is ratings volume (31K vs 7) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Master English sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $13.99 per month and Dawere sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Master English against 5.0 for Dawere. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Master English has 31K ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Master English ships an update every 2 weeks, Dawere every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
