# Master English vs CEUPE

The clearest difference is rating: Master English at 4.9 against CEUPE's 4.4. Master English also leads on ratings volume (31K vs 17) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 6 weeks). CEUPE's advantage is iOS requirement (14.0 vs 16.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Master English sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $13.99 per month and CEUPE sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $24.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Master English holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Master English has 31K ratings behind it against 17, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Master English ships an update fortnightly, CEUPE every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
