# Exxen vs Metaflix

The clearest difference is rating: Metaflix at 5.0 against Exxen's 1.4. Metaflix also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). Exxen's advantage is update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (82 vs 14). On price, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Metaflix holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 1.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Exxen has 82 ratings behind it against 14, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Exxen ships an update every 5 weeks, Metaflix every 3 months. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
