# Imaginactive vs Umami

The clearest difference is update cadence: Umami at every 6 days against Imaginactive's every 3 months. Imaginactive's advantage is iOS requirement (18.6 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Imaginactive sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $5.99 per year and Umami sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Imaginactive ships an update every 3 months, Umami every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
