# Inkspired vs Poetrify

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Poetrify at 100% against Inkspired's 51%. Poetrify also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 13) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 3 weeks). Inkspired's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 4.3) and ratings volume (606 vs 4). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Inkspired sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month. Poetrify asks for nothing beyond the download.

Inkspired holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Inkspired has 606 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 51% of Inkspired's written reviews are positive against 100% of Poetrify's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Inkspired ships an update every 3 weeks, Poetrify every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
