# EventPass vs Cortex

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: EventPass at none against Cortex's 7. EventPass also leads on ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 17.0). Cortex's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs every 7 months). On price and device support there is nothing between them.
