# Ball Sort vs Time War

The clearest difference is update cadence: Time War at every 11 days against Ball Sort's every 2 months. Ball Sort's advantage is review sentiment (50% vs 37%) and ratings volume (272 vs 42). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Ball Sort sells 5 one-off in-app purchases and Time War sells 22 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for Ball Sort against 4.5 for Time War. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Ball Sort has 272 ratings behind it against 42, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 50% of Ball Sort's written reviews are positive against 37% of Time War's.

Ball Sort ships an update every 2 months, Time War every 11 days. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
