# Русские корни vs Aromashka

The clearest difference is monetization model: Aromashka at free against Русские корни's free with in-app purchases. Aromashka also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). Русские корни's advantage is ratings volume (18 vs 3). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Русские корни against 5.0 for Aromashka. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Русские корни has 18 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 53% of Русские корни's written reviews are positive against 50% of Aromashka's.

Русские корни ships an update every 2 months, Aromashka every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
