# Souls Tracker vs Game Progress

The clearest difference is price: Souls Tracker at Free against Game Progress's $0.99. Souls Tracker also leads on rating (4.7 vs 4.2) and update cadence (weekly vs every 7 months). On review sentiment, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Souls Tracker is free to download; Game Progress costs $0.99 up front. Souls Tracker sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and Game Progress sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Souls Tracker holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Souls Tracker has 30 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Souls Tracker ships an update weekly, Game Progress every 7 months. The most recent releases landed on September 23, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
