# Fonts Fun vs JotHero

The clearest difference is ads: Fonts Fun at none against JotHero's shown. JotHero's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs every 3 months) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Fonts Fun sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and JotHero sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Fonts Fun ships an update every 3 months, JotHero every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
