# Themes © vs Magic Theme

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Magic Theme at 1.2K against Themes ©'s 71. Themes ©'s advantage is iOS requirement (12.0 vs 14.0). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Themes © sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Magic Theme sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Themes © against 4.6 for Magic Theme. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Magic Theme has 1.2K ratings behind it against 71, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Themes © ships an update every 5 weeks, Magic Theme every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
