# Mamele vs Studio

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Studio at none against Mamele's 13. Mamele's advantage is ratings volume (850 vs 1) and update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 7 months). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mamele sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month. Studio asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Mamele against 5.0 for Studio. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Mamele has 850 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Mamele ships an update every 6 weeks, Studio every 7 months. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
