# McClockface vs Clock Plus

The clearest difference is rating: Clock Plus at 5.0 against McClockface's 4.6. McClockface's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 10 months) and ratings volume (316 vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. McClockface sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $1.00 per 7 days and Clock Plus sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Clock Plus holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: McClockface has 316 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

McClockface ships an update every 3 weeks, Clock Plus every 10 months. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and September 29, 2026 respectively.
