# YidPod vs 24Six

The clearest difference is rating: YidPod at 4.5 against 24Six's 4.3. YidPod also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 17.0). 24Six's advantage is ratings volume (419 vs 28) and review sentiment (66% vs 56%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

YidPod holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 24Six has 419 ratings behind it against 28, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 56% of YidPod's written reviews are positive against 66% of 24Six's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

YidPod ships an update fortnightly, 24Six every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
