# YidPod vs Dude Perfect

The clearest difference is ads: YidPod at none against Dude Perfect's shown. YidPod also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.6). Dude Perfect's advantage is ratings volume (3.4K vs 28) and review sentiment (72% vs 56%). On price, rating, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for YidPod against 4.4 for Dude Perfect. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Dude Perfect has 3.4K ratings behind it against 28, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 56% of YidPod's written reviews are positive against 72% of Dude Perfect's.

YidPod ships an update fortnightly, Dude Perfect every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
