# Whiteboard vs noteit

The clearest difference is rating: noteit at 4.8 against Whiteboard's 4.2. noteit also leads on ratings volume (98K vs 465) and chart position (#209 vs unranked). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Whiteboard sells 7 one-off in-app purchases and noteit sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

noteit holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: noteit has 98K ratings behind it against 465, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 43% and 43% positive.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
