# Prin App vs Course Sync

The clearest difference is ads: Prin App at none against Course Sync's shown. Prin App also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 67%) and ratings volume (32 vs 3). Course Sync's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs every 6 weeks) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Course Sync holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Prin App has 32 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Prin App's written reviews are positive against 67% of Course Sync's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Prin App ships an update every 6 weeks, Course Sync every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on September 29, 2026 and September 10, 2026 respectively.
