# Emoji Studio vs Fun Widgets

The clearest difference is rating: Fun Widgets at 4.8 against Emoji Studio's 4.1. Emoji Studio's advantage is review sentiment (76% vs 65%). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Emoji Studio sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and Fun Widgets sells 16 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 3 months. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Fun Widgets holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.1. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 244 and 355 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 76% of Emoji Studio's written reviews are positive against 65% of Fun Widgets's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Emoji Studio ships an update every 10 days, Fun Widgets weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
