# Pomodoro Hero vs Tiny Timer

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Tiny Timer at 63% against Pomodoro Hero's 25%. Pomodoro Hero's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks) and rating (4.7 vs 4.5). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pomodoro Hero sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per month and Tiny Timer sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Pomodoro Hero holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Pomodoro Hero has 115 ratings behind it against 22, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 25% of Pomodoro Hero's written reviews are positive against 63% of Tiny Timer's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Pomodoro Hero ships an update weekly, Tiny Timer every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and September 29, 2026 respectively.
