# Pomodoro Hero vs FocusHero

The clearest difference is review sentiment: FocusHero at 100% against Pomodoro Hero's 25%. Pomodoro Hero's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 4.0) and ratings volume (115 vs 9). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pomodoro Hero sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per month and FocusHero sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Pomodoro Hero holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Pomodoro Hero has 115 ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 25% of Pomodoro Hero's written reviews are positive against 100% of FocusHero's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly weekly. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
