# S vs TSUN Smart

The clearest difference is rating: TSUN Smart at 5.0 against S's 4.2. S's advantage is ratings volume (91 vs 1) and review sentiment (37% vs 18%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

TSUN Smart holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: S has 91 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 37% of S's written reviews are positive against 18% of TSUN Smart's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

S ships an update monthly, TSUN Smart every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
