# Form+ for Google Forms vs Forms for Google Doc

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Forms for Google Doc at 77% against Form+ for Google Forms's 44%. Form+ for Google Forms's advantage is ratings volume (45K vs 358) and rating (4.8 vs 4.6). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Form+ for Google Forms sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and Forms for Google Doc sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Form+ for Google Forms holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Form+ for Google Forms has 45K ratings behind it against 358, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 44% of Form+ for Google Forms's written reviews are positive against 77% of Forms for Google Doc's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Form+ for Google Forms ships an update every 9 days, Forms for Google Doc every 10 days. Both last shipped on October 13, 2026.
