# 2000CC Note for Kids vs Journal

The clearest difference is ads: 2000CC Note for Kids at none against Journal's shown. Journal's advantage is update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 13 months) and device support (3 vs 1). On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 2000CC Note for Kids sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Journal sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
