# Adley's PlaySpace vs Hungry Hippo 3D

The clearest difference is ads: Adley's PlaySpace at none against Hungry Hippo 3D's shown. Adley's PlaySpace also leads on rating (4.5 vs 4.1) and ratings volume (1.5K vs 15). Hungry Hippo 3D's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs fortnightly) and review sentiment (100% vs 87%). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Adley's PlaySpace holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Adley's PlaySpace has 1.5K ratings behind it against 15, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 87% of Adley's PlaySpace's written reviews are positive against 100% of Hungry Hippo 3D's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Adley's PlaySpace ships an update fortnightly, Hungry Hippo 3D every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
