# Poppo Live vs Rubi

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Rubi at none against Poppo Live's 14. Poppo Live's advantage is ratings volume (1.9K vs 126) and chart position (#25 vs unranked). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Poppo Live sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Rubi asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.3 for Poppo Live against 4.3 for Rubi. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Poppo Live has 1.9K ratings behind it against 126, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 70% of Poppo Live's written reviews are positive against 74% of Rubi's.

Poppo Live ships an update fortnightly, Rubi every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on October 30, 2026.
