# Carrot. vs SameGen

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: SameGen at none against Carrot.'s 13. SameGen also leads on update cadence (weekly vs fortnightly). Carrot.'s advantage is ratings volume (334 vs 21) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Carrot. sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. SameGen asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Carrot. against 4.8 for SameGen.
