# Carrot. vs proof

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Carrot. at 343 against proof's 6. Carrot. also leads on device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (16 vs 18.2). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Carrot. sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and proof sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

proof holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Carrot. has 343 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 95% of Carrot.'s written reviews are positive against 100% of proof's.

Carrot. ships an update every 3 weeks, proof every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
