# Carrot. vs Lots

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Lots at none against Carrot.'s 13. Lots also leads on update cadence (every 4 days vs every 3 weeks). Carrot.'s advantage is ratings volume (341 vs 15) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Carrot. sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Lots asks for nothing beyond the download.

Lots holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Carrot. has 341 ratings behind it against 15, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 95% of Carrot.'s written reviews are positive against 100% of Lots's.

Carrot. ships an update every 3 weeks, Lots every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
