# SIP vs SSK

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: SIP at none against SSK's 3. SIP also leads on iOS requirement (9.0 vs 15.1). SSK's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 6 months). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SSK sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month. SIP asks for nothing beyond the download.

SIP ships an update every 6 months, SSK weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
