# RTE Notifications vs Fleximax

The clearest difference is update cadence: Fleximax at every 3 weeks against RTE Notifications's every 2 months. Fleximax also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

RTE Notifications ships an update every 2 months, Fleximax every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
