# Omoi vs Manga Reader ㅤ

Omoi and Manga Reader ㅤ both sit at 4.6 stars, but that hides the real split: 47% of Omoi's written reviews are positive against 13% of Manga Reader ㅤ's. Omoi also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). Manga Reader ㅤ's advantage is ratings volume (18K vs 606) and chart position (#146 vs unranked). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Omoi sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Manga Reader ㅤ sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for Omoi against 4.5 for Manga Reader ㅤ. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Manga Reader ㅤ has 18K ratings behind it against 606, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 47% of Omoi's written reviews are positive against 13% of Manga Reader ㅤ's.

Omoi ships an update every 3 weeks, Manga Reader ㅤ monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and November 1, 2026 respectively.
