# VivaNovel vs Noveltime

The clearest difference is review sentiment: VivaNovel at 100% against Noveltime's 50%. VivaNovel also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs every 5 weeks) and rating (4.8 vs 4.5). Noveltime's advantage is ratings volume (216 vs 23) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 12.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. VivaNovel sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $4.49 per 7 days and Noveltime sells 7 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

VivaNovel holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Noveltime has 216 ratings behind it against 23, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 100% of VivaNovel's written reviews are positive against 50% of Noveltime's.

VivaNovel ships an update every 3 days, Noveltime every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
